Welcome to my home page. I have been practicing technology law for more than twenty-five years, based in Washington DC, Brussels, and Salt Lake City. I am on the Executive Management Team of the Brussels-based First-Law International Network. I also serve in IT and privacy consulting engagements with HR Privacy Solutions (New York), Burton Group (Salt Lake), and Jeitosa Group International (San Francisco). I arbitrate domain name disputes before the World Intellectual Property Organization ('WIPO') in Geneva. I enjoy working with clients who are developing or deploying information technologies, especially those related to the Internet and intended for global application. Much of my practice centers on intellectual property and issues relating to web services, e-commerce, outsourcing, privacy and data protection, digital identity, information security, and domain names.
